      Nya krav på produktdata f ro m den 1/10-2021

      Bakgrund

      Från och med den 2021-10-01 så kommer CDON skärpa sina produktkrav för att bättre kunna exponera och marknadsföra produkterna på CDON Marketplace.

       

      Kravspecifikation

      Det som är nytt är följande, se tabell:

      GTIN - Global Trade Item Number

      This is used to identify your product and knowing what you sell improves CDON Marketplace ability to match your products with relevant customers and increase your visibility.

      • Product variants have different GTIN codes for each variant. Make sure you are submitting the correct value for each variant.
      • Limits: Max 14 characters, Example: 12345678912345


      GTIN is a collection of several different types of ID numbers:

      • UPC (in North America / GTIN-12): 12-digit number (convert 8-digit UPC-E codes to 12-digit codes).
      • EAN (in Europe / GTIN-13): 13-digit number.
      • JAN (in Japan / GTIN-13): 8 or 13-digit number.
      • ISBN (for books): 13-digit number (convert ISBN-10 to ISBN-13). If you have both, include only the 13-digit number.
      • ITF-14 (for multipacks / GTIN-14): 14-digit number.

      MPN - Manufacturer Part Number

      The Manufacturer Part Number of your product.

      This is used to identify your product and knowing what you sell improves CDON Marketplace ability to match your products with relevant customers and increase your visibility.

      • Required for all products without a manufacturer assigned GTIN.
      • Use the MPN assigned by the manufacturer. Unless you are the manufacturer of the product do not use values you have created.
      • Product variant usually have different MPN for each variant. Make sure you are submitting the correct value for each variant.
      • Limits: Max 50 characters , Example: 12345678912345

       

       

      BRAND

      The brand name of your product.
      This is used to identify your product and knowing what you sell improves CDON Marketplace ability to match your products with relevant customers and increase your visibility.

      • Required for all products.
      • Provide the brand name generally recognized by consumers. For media products like CDs or books submit the publishers name as brand.
      • If the product does not have a brand, submit the manufacturer or supplier name. In case you are the manufacturer of the product, or the product is a white-label product use your store name as the brand name.
      • Do not provide a value that is not a brand for example N/A, No or No brand.
      • Submit the brand in only one language.
      • If the product is refurbished submit the brand of the original manufacturer.
      • Limits: Max 70 characters, Example: Adidas
